he new and long-awaited album by Tamburitza Band Patria has finally been released by Croatia Records from Zagreb, the largest major record label in Croatia. The album Život je pjesma (Life is a song) is a result of a five-year-long working process; it is Patria's fifth original album and their eleventh record altogether. This musically rich material consists of 12 songs whose authors are Damir Bačić, Jerry Grcevich and Šima Dominković. The guest vocalists on this album are Maja Zeko in the song Jedno si ti, drugo sam ja, and Marinko Blažinkov, the vocalist of Tamburitza Band Dike, in the song Sred ravnice. Thanks to the CFU Gift Shop and the kind ladies from HEART OF CROATIA GIFTS, this album should be available in North America this summer.
